St. Therese Triduum
With the construction of the Chapel in 1998/99, a Shrine was constructed in honor of St. Therese of Liseau, also known as St. Therese of the Child Jesus. The statue and shrine were dedicated on her feast day, October 1, 1999.

St. Therese, who was a Carmelite nun, is the patron saint of missions, and represents youth and the hunger that young people have for the presence of Christ in their lives.

The triduum, a set of three masses, is held annually, concluding on her feast day. Following the final mass, a reception is held, with food being prepared by members of the Chapel community.

In our "Then and Now" Series, towards the end of the program, we chronicle the building of the Shrine of St. Therese. Click below to watch the video.
