St. Francis Mass

It is only appropriate that we have, at the Prince of Peace Chapel, a mass in honor of St. Francis at which animals and pets of our community are blessed. With mascots Pasqualina and Noelle, both 'regulars' at Chapel events, animals and pets are part of our 'family of families'.

St. Francis of Assisi, founder of the Franciscan movement, is also known as the patron saint of animals, birds, and the environment. His feast day is on October 4, where there is a mass held every year. At that mass, parishoners bring their animals to have them blessed.
