Social Events

The Jesus Christ Prince of Peace Chapel sponsors many social events, as part of our mission to create a community of faith. Some of the social events which are held include the Welcome Back BBQ, at the beginning of the year, as well as holiday parties, Universality Events, Outreach Programs, the CCMC, and our biggest event, the Beefsteak Dinner.

A huge aspect of the social mission of Campus Ministry is the SGA chartered club. The Catholic Campus Ministry Club (CCMC) hosts several on-going and seasonal social events throughout the year. Each semester the club members and friends make it a point to hang out and relax in a variety of ways through bowling, movies, sports, and trips. We feel that it is important to balance the hard work of the college life with some fun relaxation. The Club also has summer gatherings; this past summer the CCMC went to New York City and visited St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Philadelphia to the Shrine of St. Kathryn Drexel
