The Diocese of Paterson includes the three counties of Passaic, Morris, and Sussex in northern New Jersey, under the leadership of Bishop Arthur Joseph Serratelli . The diocese is blessed with urban, suburban, and rural parishes. Our parishes, schools, agencies, hospitals, and ministries help to serve the 377,000 Catholics who live in the diocese.
"The Word: Alive and Well", CCMCommunications' Flagship Production, is a half-hour Catholic Talk Show that is currently available on over 45 cable networks throughout North America, sent to over 9 million household living rooms, as well as world-wide via webcasting. The show has been produced for over 12 years in cooperation with Willaim Paterson University and WPBN-TV
The USCCB is an assembly of the Catholic Church hierarchy who work together to unify, coordinate, promote, and carry on Catholic activities in the United States; to organize and conduct religious, charitable, and social welfare work at home and abroad; to aid in education; and to care for immigrants. The bishops themselves constitute the membership of the Conference and are served by a staff of over 350 lay people, priests, deacons, and religious.
